Alive After Fatal Accident

Despite experiencing a near-fatal accident, we are fortunate to still be alive, and we may view this as a rebirth of our lives. The majority of us lead relatively safe lives throughout our existence, with only a few unfortunate individuals facing fatal destinies due to bad luck or poverty. Nevertheless, we should remain vigilant in our daily lives, as we never know when misfortune may befall us.
In 1980, Mount St. Helens in the United States erupted after lying dormant for over a thousand years. The eruption claimed the lives of many residents, scientists, and even fifty-seven tourists. In the previous century, San Francisco experienced a devastating earthquake, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of people, primarily due to the ensuing traffic chaos. Additionally, in the same century, a nuclear bomb factory in Russia exploded, leading to the tragic deaths of all the workers and nearby residents. Furthermore, in Korea, during the later part of the previous century, a department store building collapsed, claiming the lives of five hundred individuals.
