Beware Fair Day

In our lives, when everything seems to be going smoothly, we must be alert that a storm may come at any time. In our Chinese old saying, luck and disaster are closely connected, and usually, disaster follows luck.
Many people work very hard and carefully before achieving success, but after succeeding, they often become careless, leading to eventual failure. It is almost a rule that when we are enjoying a happy moment after success, the evil of disaster will knock on the door, and we may unknowingly let it in and become our master. Success cannot guarantee our success forever.
Many years ago, there was a professor who divided his students into two groups in his classroom: one with soft chairs and one with hard chairs. At the end of the term, the hard chair group achieved better results in their exams, while the soft chair group had lower scores. This shows that a hard life can bring us a better life.
