Ganga

In India, the Ganga is a holy river, also known as the River of Goddess. During big occasions, Indian people celebrate in the Ganga. Tens of thousands of people sink their bodies in the river, hoping to get luck from the river. This custom has lasted for a thousand years.
The Ganga's original source is in the Himalaya Mountains, where it remains frozen with ice and snow throughout the year. When the Sun heats it, it melts and streams down to the river. The stream comes down through the Ganga, travels a few thousand miles, and finally reaches the sea.
The Ganga is a few thousand miles long, with high mountains, cities, villages, and many small rivers by its side. Due to the Ganga's holiness, many strange celebrations are held in the river. One such celebration involves men getting naked to soak in the water.
There is a city by the side of the Ganga, where people who die can go to heaven immediately after death.
