Never Give Up

In World War II, Germany started the war and many countries in Europe surrendered to Germany. However, the English Prime Minister, Churchill, said "never give up". Because of Churchill's high standard in speech, the British followed his call to fight against Germany. Churchill also spoke to European countries, which followed Britain to fight together, making it difficult for Germany to conquer Europe.
Not only in Europe, but also in America, Churchill's speeches influenced the decision for America to join Britain to fight against Germany. For five years, Germany controlled the war, but in the later stage, the Allied forces began to win.
At the end of five years, Hitler committed suicide and the new leader of Germany surrendered to the Allied forces. Thus, the Second World War ended. It was a really cruel war, causing the deaths of about eighty million people in Europe. Since then, America has been the leader of the world.
