Poems

We, China, have a history of a few thousand years. We had thousands of famous poets who wrote many beautiful poems for our enjoyment.
Good poems mean to put single words together, making a beautiful sentence. This can only be done by educated people who have read huge books on how to write.
Most of us have to earn our living by working hard. To write a good poem is not our aim in life.
But, poems are enjoyable after our work. It is leisure to reduce our pressure from work. It is good for a peaceful mind.
To put words together into a good sentence is not easy. If you are not an educated poet, you cannot do so.
In the Second World War, England fought against Germany and won the war. It is because the English Prince Minster Churchill, who was a learned man, made many famous speeches to encourage people to fight. He put English characters together and made powerful sentences for the purpose of war.
