Long Life, Not Easy

We are human, everybody wishes to live a long life. That is why the King in ancient days wished people to call him “ten thousand years lord.”
But, it was a compliment only. Most kings did not live long. They almost died under eighty in average.
Kings had a superior power with the best doctors in the country around him, best medicine available, but he could not live long.
It was because good kings worked hard to death and bad kings played hard to shorter his life.
Even for our normal people, we also cannot live long as we expect. The weather could make us catch cold and cough and suffer.
Besides, we shall have unexpected accident which is beyond our control, such as traffic accident, rail and airplane accident as well.
Since we do not know tomorrow, we must live well at the moment, to work hard, to enjoy as we like. Such should be our life.
