Reading History

Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister in the Second Word War and also he got Nobel Prize at that time in literature.
Many students asked Churchill what kind books they should read in their leisure time. Churchill replied: ‘You should read more history books.”
It is very true that if we wish to be wiser and knowledgeable, we should read more history from which we can learn profound knowledge.
History is gone, but from it we can see the future, which, in most cases, is only the repeat of past history.
In ancient Egypt, there was a very famous fortune teller, the Queen asked him: “Why you can tell the future?” He replied: “I say according to the past books, which are the history.”
Therefore, if you want to be a learned man, reading more history books. It is the only way to get you to be knowledgeable.
All history books are good, modern or ancient are like. Things of yesterday is the history we can learn.
