Success From Persistence

Many years ago, a certain village somewhere, there was a farmer who had a very big barn, storing huge dried grass, food for his house and ox in the coming winter. But, one day in his working process, he dropped his watch to the dried grass. As the barn space was big, he could not find his watch from the lumps of the grass.
Therefore, he posted a notice in front of his barn saying that if anybody could find his watch out from the barn, he would pay one thousand dollars.
By this reward, many people applied the job for the search of the watch. But, through a whole day, no body was successful in finding out the watch. People stopped working when the night came. One of the searchers was a boy who need money badly for his home. He did not abandon it and under the dim lights, he still worked. As whole day work to him made him very tired, he fell to sleep. When he woke, it was already in midnight, but he suddenly heard a sound of “Tak Tai”, which was very weak. By the direction of the sound, he found the watch and got one thousand dollars.
From here we learn that in anything we do, if we insist the chance of success is higher. Failure to those who give up when difficulty arises.
