Ganges River

Ganges River in India is a holy river, also called Goddess river which is known all over the world. At the important festival, there are millions of people gathered in along the river, they put all their bodies into the river, wishing to get blessed from the holy water which will protect their luck all their life. Such practice has been over one thousand year.
The original source of Ganges River is from the Himalayas, where tremendous snow and ice at the top of the mountain, from melting ice, water coming down to the Ganges River, which is over a thousand miles long and which is through thousand of cities and villages and finally through Bangladesh, then to the Indian ocean and swallowed by the sea.
Ganges River is a holy river, in all festivals, strangers of many kinds, have been held along the river. A a crowd of naked men gathered together in the water on a certain day of a year to get luck from the water.
Ox is highly respected by the Indian people, If a person kills an ox, he may get seven-year prison. But, ironically, the biggest export of ox skin in the world is from India. It is because many illegal men, killing ox in the remote mountain side where law cannot enforce upon.
