A Little Knowledge About Hanoi

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam, a very modernized city, but to the true Vietnam, you must see the back street of main modernized road. In the narrow street, there are many small shops, everything available there at very cheap price. But, cars are not permitted to enter that area, only allowing motorcycles to go in. It is quite dangerous that people have to walk in the space with motorcycle which, in many cases, carry two or three children in the cycle.
In the market, like others cities, there are meat, chicken, fish, vegetable to sell. Only one thing is special, that there are many dog meats to sell which include dog’s body, head, legs, hearts, kidney or anything inside the dog body.
As Westerners love dog deeply and they ask Hanoi people why they are so cruel to eat dogs. Local citizen replied that in 1950, Vietnam were fighting terribly with French armies for freedom and they had nothing to eat. They were forced to kill dogs for food and ever since this dog food has become popular in the Vietnam.
In one village which only sell snakes. They held a snake in hand. When you choose a particular snake, they, with a scissor, just cut snakes’ head off. Then you could take the body into the nearby restaurant for cooking which also popular there.
