Do Not Compare With Others

Long, long time ago, there was a rich man somewhere in some country. He bought a piece of land in the country side, nearby a river of very clean water, streaming down from a mountain far away. There are many beautiful fishes, swimming in. It is indeed a beautiful place to live in the river.
He built a very beautiful house there, big and luxurious. The day the house was completed, he invited many friends and relatives to celebrate his new house. Of course, all the guests admired the beauty of the house located in such a green place of nature.
Two years later, an old friend of him visited the rich man, but found him looking very unhappy. His friend asked him the reason. The rich man said that it was another rich man who built a house yonder of the river, more luxuriously and bigger. The reason of unhappiness was as simple as that.
Therefore, for most of us, it is better not to compare with others in material things. Just enjoy what we have in our possession and we do not have to seek a perfection. Non-perfection is a perfection indeed.
