Persistent And Persistent

We, Chinese, have a phrase: “To be persistent, never give up.” which can be applied in anything to ourselves individually or in competition with others. Even if we are persistent, we cannot guarantee that we are definitely successful, but by persistency our chance of success is surely higher than most of other people who do not persist.
Therefore, in anything we must hold a principle to be persistent. Only by persistence, we have chance to be successful to achieve anything we desire. But, many people, due to difficulty, have abandoned persistency when the goal of success is in sight.
In learning, persistency is absolutely necessary. Only by your hard learning, you can then get high marks in school and to be a distinguished student in graduation.
In competition of any game, only the persistent person in practice have the chance to win. We always have heard: “One minute in stage, ten years practice behind.” But even you have practiced ten years, you still need some luck to be a champion because every competitor has practiced ten yours. In that case, only God can help you.
