Knowing Is Knowing

“Knowing is knowing, unknowing is unknowing.” This is what the Chinese philosopher Confucius said two thousand five hundred years ago. It is true in many respects. That is you can say anything what you know, not say anything what you do not know.
It is not difficult to apply our talk to other people. As long as we say truth from what knowledge we have, everything will be all right. The problem is that we do not know ourselves well. Many things we think we know well, but actually not. Such vague judgement leads us to commit many mistakes.
Why we will commit mistakes. It is because we are overconfident on ourselves that we know everything, especially on our daily life. As a matter of fact, we know only a little, wrong judgement frequently happened.
Therefore, we should be humble to ourselves. By humility, we will not be proud and will learn to up-grade ourselves. By doing so, our mistakes are much reduced.
If we can apply our learning attitude to face things, our chance of success is more, reducing the possibility of failure.
