Refuse To Lend Money Out

If you lend money to other people, in most cases, you cannot get money back. We, Chinese, have a saying: “Sit to lend money out, but knell to get back.” This shows that to lend out money is easy, to get back difficult. Therefore, the best way is not to lend money to others.
But we live among a group of people. We cannot avoid that someday, somebody may borrow money from us. If such things do happen, we shall be in an awkward position whether to agree or refuse. We have to decide under the circumstance by our wisdom.
Among our relatives or good friends, they may need to borrow money in a special emergency case. Thus, we must help. But still, we need to consider our financial power, to help within our financial ability, not to help all what we have.
If the people, who ask us to lend them money, are of shallow friendship, you must refuse with a good excuse. Or, in most case, you will not get back your money. It is your right not to lend, since the money you made was through your hard work and labour.
