Alive After Disaster

A certain member of people, they have been alive after an accident or disaster which is closely connected with their death and life. Fortunately, they have lived. From that moment on they cherished their life so much, thinking that they live a second life.
But most of us are in a state of safety life. We have never met any accident or disaster. Even so we should be careful not to do any dangerous thing or go to any dangerous place. As Chinese proverb said: “You can sail, a ship ten thousand years, safe if you are prudent.” The following were the disasters which happened in the world last century.
1. Mount St. Helens volcano in America which had slept silently during the past one thousand years, suddenly exploded in 1980, causing few hundred people to be dead and thousands wounded.
2. The Soviet Chernobyl Atomic Electric factory exploded in last century, few thousand of scientists, workers, and fire men died immediately. Thirty-five thousand residents who lived nearby suffered uncurable disasters all their life.
3. Also, in last century, a building of a department store suddenly collapsed in busy street, causing four hundred fifty people to have died and thousands wounded.
