Great Is To Forgive

In 1944, at the Second World War, Germany was defeated, unconditionally surrendering to the allied armies, all German soldiers became prisoners.
In one Russian city in one day for certain reason, twenty thousand prisoners removed from one camp to another camp. The prisoners had to pass one long road in this city. By the sides of the road, many women stood, crying and scolding, protecting that the German soldiers had killed their husbands and sons. The scene was sad and confusing.
Suddenly an old woman stepped out from the roadside, asking the guard permission to speak something to prisoners. Guard agreed. But the woman did not speak, only bringing out food to feed those hungry soldiers. Such action touched the soldiers who, volunteerly, all kneeled down to the Russian women for a silent excuse. An angry scene suddenly turned to be a scene of tolerance and peace. This was a true story and became a world news.
Therefore, in our life we may be hurted by somebody. We will be angry and even, we wish to revenge. But, if we can turn our heart to be tolerant, it may be good to ourselves as well to others. It may be difficult to do so, but to try pardon is something to prove that we have a kind heart.
