In the South province of China, there is one place called Li River. In this place, there live a kind of big bird which cannot fly, but can swim very fast under water.
Fishmen used this kind of bird to catch fish. Birds live together with the fishmen sleeping in the day, fishing in the night.
Fishmen used bamboo boat to catch fish. They put lights in front and back part of the boats to attract fish to swim closer. Then, the fishmen put down the big bird to the river. As the birds swim faster than the fish, it is easy to catch a lot of fish in one night. But the birds will not catch more than seven fish for one night. Reaching that number, the birds stop working. Fishmen have to feed them and go home.
Forests in Yunnan are the biggest in China. Especially, according to the calculation of botanist, there are seventeen thousand kinds of trees and flowers. Among them, three thousand are only available in the Yunnan forest. That is why many expensive medicines from trees are from Yunnan province, no supply from other province in China.
