Knowledge Gives Us Thinking

Our thinking is from knowledge, without which we cannot have thinking. For example, in ancient days in China, farmer only had knowledge to plant field, knowing nothing about the world. It was because he did not have any knowledge about anything. So, he had no thinking about his life.
In former days, in one dynasty, an old king died, leaving a baby king of few years old. The military and political power fell into the Prime Minister. This Prime Minister locked the baby king in one small room, only giving food to the baby king to survive. Prime Minister ordered that no one could speak to him and, of course, no education to the baby king. After ten years, the baby grew up, but he only knew how to eat, his wisdom lower than animals. It was really a tragedy, even Shakespeare could not write such tragedy story.
Therefore, we must be in pursuit of knowledge, which can only come from books in which experience of failure and success have been written down by our ancestors to guide us in our life. Since our lifetime is limited, we have to be careful to select good books only to build up a good life.
