Do Not Know General Knowledge Too Much

In China, we have one proverb: “If you know general knowledge too much, you will be poor.” It is very clear that if you do not have any knowledge special, you will be difficult to get work. Therefore, we must possess a particular knowledge which can compete against other people. For example, if you dig nine wells with no water, it is better to dig one well deeper to get water.
We can see the example from European doctor of Chinese doctors in Western style. They divide their knowledge very clearly. One is specially in heart, another in spine, another in brain and so on. Such clear division give patients more confidence in their illness. But Chinese doctors are different. They claim they can cure every sickness. If it is so, patients will have less confidence in their skill.
Time in our life is not so long and the world is so big. How can we learn everything for the use in the world? We have to learn key important knowledge which can be used in society to get a job for our living. Any knowledge which can exchange for money is a good knowledge or the knowledge is useless.
