The Definition Of Old People

Few years ago, the China Central Television Station held a programme about the age of old people. Three old people joined, one eighty-eight a woman, one ninety-three a man, one ninety-nine a woman. They were asked how could they live to that age. The old woman of eighty-eight replied that she only ate one pound of vegetable every day, so simple as that. The second man of ninety-three said that he did a running exercise every morning in his younger days and now he walked two thousand five hundred steps daily. That was all. The last one of ninety-nine said that she drank warm water every morning and eat warm food during the day, plus activities, exergy permitting. She had lived in the Old Folks’ House since six year ago and so far so good up to today’s age of ninety-nine.
From above example, we know that vegetables, walking, and warm water and warm food are good to our health. But up to what age we can live, it is entirely depending upon every person’s individual lifestyle.
Everybody wishes his life healthy and long, but it must base on one principle. He must be able to handle his own life independently. If he relies his daily life upon other’s help, such a life will be meanless.
