Distance Is A Beauty

Between human to human, except family, we should keep certain distance with each other. If we see a friend every day, talking anything as we like. Such friendship cannot last long. Someday, for a careless word, their friendship may be split or even become strangers.
The best way to keep a long friendship is to adopt a “fireplace” policy. In a severe winter, our home will have “fireplace” to keep room warm. In this way, we cannot keep ourselves too close to the fire or we will be burned. On the other hand, we cannot be too distant from fire, or we shall not get warm.
Even so familiar between husband and wife, they should be allowed to have a trusted empty space of time to live their private life. A “fireplace” philosophy can be applied to them.
In ancient day, Chinse lived a life of four generation together. Old people liked to have such a life as a model of perfection in his old days. But, on the other hand, he will face enormous trouble with his descendant in his daily life.
