Who Are You?

When you rise up from bed every morning, you will face a mirror in preparation of today’s life. By this chance, you may ask yourself: “who are you?” If you have such a habit, you will be inclined to criticize yourself how to live a proper life today. Then, you will seize today’s time carefully, to use it for your benefit of today or for your future. You shall not waste your time aimlessly in things which will bring you nothing in return.
There is one proverb in England: “You cannot see your dust in your nose.” The dust means fault. By looking at mirror, we see our fault, we shall then ponder ourselves to correct our faults in our day’s life.
Greek’s philosopher Socrates said: “Understand yourself.” It is true that many people understand other people very well, but they cannot understand themselves. For those people, to see mirror every day is absolutely necessary.
Many people have good idea, but mostly not realistic. India proverb said: “You can have your ideals as high as in the sky, but you must keep your feet on the ground.” This should be a guidance, especially for young persons.
