Soil Speaks

We are soil, human do not look high at us, and people tread on us day and night. We are the lowest grade of nature’s material. Unlike water, which is so welcomed by human, as human cannot live without water.
But our power is great. We do not have offensive power, but we have a power to defend ourselves against any aggressive things in the world.
Fire and flood are the fiercest things in the nature if they are out of control. Only our soil can stop them, controlling them, making them tame going a proper way to serve the human.
Everyone knows that any food, except fish grows from soil without which the human shall have nothing to eat.
Even the oil under the sea is protected by our soil. Our soil lies quietly in the sea bottom to protect oil under us. Sea, powerful as it is, can never break our soil defense.
When the soil gathers together, it becomes land which forces water to be a river. Our soil is indeed powerful and useful to human.
