Swimming Competition, Life Direction

In our life direction, we can learn from swimming competition. This does not mean that we have to be champion. Champion is too difficult to get, almost impossible. What we have to learn is the spirit of competitions. All of the swimmers, swim desperately, as fast as they can. They only swim forward and forward, never turning their heads to see other simmers whether they are ahead or behind.
If you desire to be a champion, you may be disappointed. It is because among tens of thousand swimmers, there is only one champion. No matter how hard you learn, you still need to depend on luck. You may lose your champion by one finger distance. Disappointment may affect your future life.
What you have to learn is the spirit of competition. In your life, as long as you do your best, work best, that is enough in your life fighting. Do not compare with other people. Some will be better than you, either in the achievement of business or in the field of education. Some may be in the poor state of life. You just compare yourself. You must be better tomorrow than today in any thing you do. You must progress every day even your aim is not of a champion. If you have a philosophy of progress, your duty of life is done and you shall be a person of content in any fields.
