Shakespeare

In the English world. Bible has been ranked as a number one book and Shakespeare second. Of course, Shakespeare was an excellent play writer, reknowning during the past four hundred years.
It is true that Shakespeare is still popular today. When London theatre is on the show of “Hamlet”, many people will rush to see the play, ticket difficult to get.
Shakespeare was a distinguished play writer, but his play is only for adults to see, not fit for young people.
For example in the play of “Romeo and Juliet”, Romeo was only sixteen and Juliet thirteen. Actually, they were only grown-up children, but when they meet, they fell into love and even got married without approval form parents. From very beginning, the seed of a sad ending was sowed already.
But, nowadays, many young people wish to learn the love spirit of “Romeo and Juliet” whose love is more important than life.
Shakespeare was excellent in writing but in his thinking, he was not great. He even was not good to the philosophy of adults. In many cases, he wrote that general killed their kings, to get other’s wife by power, to write concealed words on sex life, etc.
