I Am Such A Person

In the society, we sometimes heard that someone would say: “I am such a person of good heart not to punish a man who has committed mistakes.” He will excuse a person even he does serious wrong.
Such person has held no principle on anything, but to decide a thing on his mood of that time. He listens to his sentiment by his own, not by reason of general law.
His character is too soft minded and once he has formed his character he can never change.
We can not give heavy responsibility to such a person to be a general or a judge. Everything will be decided by his mood of that time. If he is a judge, he may give a light sentence to a prisoner if he is on a good mood. Or he may put heavy penalty on a person of light crime. The sentence is entirely to be made by his sentiment of that day.
In our Chinese old saying: “State name can be charged, but human character can never be changed.” It is true that once our character is formed, we shall never change.
Maybe if we have a character which will lead us to be successful or we shall have an evil character which will lead us to be in failure or even in doom. We pray that we can have a character on good side.
