Siddhartha Gautama

Gautama was the ancestor of Buddhism. His words have been very practical to the human life. The following are few words said by him: -

1. Do not dwell in the past; do not dwell in future: concentrate the mind on the present moment.
2.Let yourself be open and life will be easier. A spoon of salt in a glass of water makes the water undesirable. A spoon of salt in a lake almost unnoticed.

3. One thought leads to heaven; one thought leads to hell.

4. Each morning we are born again. What we do is what we matter most.

5. The tongue like a sharp knife without drawing blood.

6. An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

7. Words have the power to both destroy or heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.

All above words are true and useful and if we can apply them to our daily life, we can benefit very greatly. Therefore, seize today to learn good philosophy. As long as we can have useful philosophy by our side, we can surely enjoy our life with less trouble and no disaster.
