Siddhattha

Siddhattha is the ancestor of Buddhism. He was a prince of Nepal, but he left his home to ascertain the Buddhism theory outside. He died at eighty, not a very old age.
Though Siddhattha was the founder in Buddhism, his teaching has been very practical to the life of ordinary people. The following were the words of him which are quite useful in our daily life.
“The life of thousand candles originated from one candle light which remains still undiminished.”
From here, we can see that if we pass our knowledge to many people, it will still do not harm our knowledge which we have possessed.
“An evil person is more harmful than an animal which may attack us. But, the thought of an evil person may harm us more to our heart than animals.’
Animals will attack us in front of us, and we may find ways to defend. But, the evil person may use beautiful words to make our pure heart to evil. This is more terrible than the animals. Therefore, we should always be alert to watch the occasion which may deteriorate our heart.
