Idleness

The most terrible person is the one who has a character of idleness. He can never be successful, forever a failure. The following are the words from famous people to guide us to avoid going to the door of idleness.
“Idleness is the gate of all harms. An idle man is like a house that has no walls: the devils may enter on all sides.”
-Geoffrey Chancer
“Idleness is the key of beggary, and the root of all evil.”
-Charles Hadden Spurgeon
“Better suffer hardship when young than poverty in old age.”
-Chinese Proverb
“Idleness is the devil’s home for temptation and unprofitable distracting musings; while labour profits others and ourselves.’
-Richard Baxter
“go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its way, and be wise, although it has no commander it prepares its food in the summer: it has gathered food even in the harvest.”
-Old Bible, Proverb 6.6
“Idleness travels very slowly, and poverty very soon overtakes her.”
-John Hunter
“Of all our faults, the one we excuse most easily is idleness.”
-La Rochforcauld
“Idleness is only the refuge of weak minds and the holiday of fools.’
-Philip D.S. Chesterfield
“If you are idle, you are on the way to ruins and there are few stopping on the road.”
-Harry Ward Beecher
