Akira Kurosawa

In the last century, Akira Kurosawa was the most famous director of movie in Japan. All of his movies were excellent, especially in the field of Seven Samurai. His stories were mostly taken from events of warlord time in the middle century in Japan. At that time Japan was divided into many small zones administered by the person who has an army of his own in his native place. He took no orders from Japanese King who was only a name with no real power.
Afterwards a warlord, Oda Nobunaga, who, was the most powerful of that time and he controlled half of the Japan. Later Oda was killed by his subordinate and then his power fell to the another warlord Toyotomi Hidegoshi. After Toyotomi died, the power came to Tokugawa Leysau, who started to administer Japan for over two hundred years.
In most of Akira films, he described the evil heart of human. He cooperated with a famous star Toshiro Mifune, who was handsome with good performance skill. Their films were very successful in the history record of movies.
But, in the two films his idea came from Shakespeare. One film of “Throne of Blood” was from the Shakespeare story “Macbeth” and in another film, “Ran” also was taken from the “King Lear” in the Shakespeare play.
Akira time has been over, but his film left a theory to directors of how to direct on good film to meet the demand of audience.
