Words Of Lincoln

Lincoln was American president two hundred years ago and he was also a brilliant politician. His words were mostly helpful in the political field, but some of his words were also applied to the life of ordinary people. He said:
In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years.
This few sentences mean that we shall not count how we live our life, but we should count what we did in our life. It is very clear that we should do something useful to help other people, not only to care about ourselves.
Everybody likes a compliment.
This is very important in the association of human world. Everyone wishes compliment from others. Therefore, if somebody does some merit to help other people, we must praise him for what he has done. This should be the right attitude of our life.
I would be rather a little nobody, than to be evil somebody.
It clearly tells us that we should be a person of ordinary behavior to live a life under the law, than to do some evil thing to offend the law.
Get books, sit yourself down anywhere and go to reading them yourself.
This is self-explanatory. The more books we read, the more cleaver we are.
