Cherish Today

The Second World War has been gone more than seventy years. Scores of millions of people died in this war which was cruel and terrible in the history of mankind. Those people who died had their beautiful dreams for their lives while they were alive, but they were all gone just like gone with the wind.
Therefore everybody today prays that war shall never happen again and we dream to have a peaceful life in our life time.
Peace has been in this world already over seventy years. We do not know when the war will happen in the coming seventy years. The people born after the war have no experience about the cruelty of the war. They only know the war from books and documentary.
Therefore, since we do not know when the war will happen, we must cherish our peaceful moment today, to do what we should do, to learn what we should learn.
To cherish today need a peaceful mind and a peaceful mind needs a support of silence. Mother Teresa once said: “the trees, the flowers, the plants grow in silence. The stars the sun, the moon move in silence. Silence gives us a new perspective.” We cherish today by the support of silence to live out our beautiful life.
