In the world, there are certain people who are very clever, but doing something very foolish, hurting other people and also hurting themselves as well.
We see from Shakespeare plays such as “Romeo and Juliet” “Hamlet” “Macbeth” which are all tragic dramas. Those people in the plays were all clever ones, but doing something so foolish that they were not only hurting other people, but finally they hurted themselves, resulting tragedies in the end.
In the play of “Romeo and Juliet”, Romeo had a girl friend called Susana, but when Romeo saw Juliet in a party, he turned his love from Susana to Juliet. Tragedy might not happen if he was in love with Susana.
In the “Hamlet”, it was a King’s brother who killed his brother King and became a King himself. King’s son “Hamlet” revenged by killing the murder king.
“Macbeth” was a general under a king but he hold the power of army and killed the king and became king himself. Finally he also was killed by the people of the previous king.
Therefore, greedy is the factor to make clever people to do foolish thing and resulting a tragedy. Be a person of content and then you can live your life in peace all your whole life.
