Wisdom High, less Friends

Philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer once said: “A High degree of intellect tends to make a man unsocial.”
It is true that if you are an unsocial man, you will surely have less friends. Friendship can only be built by more contacts between each other.
But, to have more friends will cost us to spend more time in building friendship to which we have to consider more carefully.
We, in our human life, need friends without whom we shall be lonely in this world. No one will like to live a lonely life, even animals, except tiger.
What shall we do in term of friendship? The problem is how to build a friendship which is useful to our life. We cannot have many friends who will only take our time which is indeed our life. We have, therefore, to be careful to use our time in selecting good friends who will not hurt us.
However, if you are a man of high wisdom, you will be very cautions to use your time in selecting friends. You will not join unnecessary parties. You will avoid to be social with people who will only waste your time. The conclusion is that the more wisdom you have, the less friends you will get.
