There is a proverb in India: “Even your thought is as high as sky, your feet must be on the ground.” Thought is very free, which belongs to you personally. You can think whatever you like, to be evil, to be great or anything which is deeply in your heart.
But, we must know very clearly that thought is abstract and unseen which is like sky boundless and what you can find is only the air. Things in the ground are different. Everything in the ground is real, which we can touch and see. Without those things in the ground we cannot live. We need a house to live to shelter us from storm and we must eat food to cure our stomach when we are hungry. Our body will feel painful if we are hit by hard article. We will get cold and we will die when old. If we offend law, we will be prisoned in jail. All those things happen in the ground which we have to face every day all in our life.
We are human and must distinguish the sky and ground very clear. In our thought, if we kill, we do not need to go to jail, but in ground everything we do is subject to the control of law. We have to take any consequence for whatever we do.
We all desire to have beautiful life and be happy all our life long. It is a life we desire to be. Therefore, we should always have a decent thought and apply such thought to our ground life. In our sphere of thought, we can live in isolation. But, in ground, we have to live with other human in group, and live our life in a way as other human. That is the society.
