Law is fair, cool and can wrong innocent people. Therefore, we have to obey the law and live in the frame of the law, never offending law.
Law has no life and it needs people to execute it into life. If the person who holds the law is not fair, many wrong judgments will happen.
In the Chinese history, law in the Qin Dynasty was the severest. If you committed a serious crime, you would face a death sentence, your head to be cut off. At that time, whole society was very peaceful, even minor crime very rare.
Especially, law forbade people to fight in group, offending which was death. But, in one case, villagers of two villages, ignoring the law, fought against each other, numbering to seven hundred persons.
Even the number was so big, the government executed law severely. All the heads of seven hundred people were cut off near a river side, making the water to be red by blood.
As long as we live our life carefully the law will only protect us. If a country has no law, we will live in fear from the threat of wicked people.
