Law Of Qin Dynasty

In the history of China, the severest law was in the Qin Dynasty. It was by this severe law, Qin appeared from a very small country in the North-West of China into a super power. China at that time was divided into seven countries based on the shape of geography. Finally Qin conquered other six countries and China was then united into one country which was the Qin Dynasty.
But, it was also by this severe law, a small junior government officer overthrew the Qin Dynasty which only existed about sixty years, the shortest for a dynasty life in Chinese history.
This junior officer’s name was called Liu Bang, who became King of Han Dynasty afterwards. Liu was the prison officer whose duty was to deliver prisoners from one city to another city. There was a limited days to deliver. If delay in delivering the prisoners, the officer would face a death penalty.
One day as usual, Law took a big number of prisoners to deliver to another city. But, there was terrible rain on the way and the entire road was blocked, unable to pass. Law knew he could not deliver the prisoners in time and he would face death sentence. He therefore released all the prisoners and he leaded them to attack the city nearby and killed the city governor. His action stimulated fire of revolution from many parts of China and finally Qin Dynasty was then overthrown.
