Speaking about the rain, we will naturally think about sun since rain and sun is closely connected. We all know that when there is sun, there is no rain. These two nature giants have very close co-operation to master the earth.
Sun and rain are both important to our life, but which is more important to us. May be rain is more important. It is because fierce sun can only make land dry and crack, forcing living creature especially the animals to die in the season of drought. The world will diminish if no rain falls to rescue the land to green.
By rain, the land can appear green overnight. Of course, too much rain will come flood, but it is still better than the sun which, if under long drought, millions of animals will die by lack of water.
In ancient China, when drought lasted few years King would worship God to make a rain fall, but there had never been cases that King would beg God to stop rain.
In Africa, if drought happens there, millions of animals will die, but with one big heavy rain whole land will come to life. All animals which live underground at the time of drought will appear immediately to live as quickly as the rain falls down to the earth. Therefore, we think rain is more important than sun.
